Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings [movie] MAN, I HAVE SAID FOR A WHILE THAT AT SOME POINT IN THE LAST TEN YEARS BIG BUDGET ACTION MOVIES DISCOVERED THE EXACT CHEMICAL FORMULA FOR A MOVIE AND NO MATTER WHAT A MOVIE WAS AND EVEN IF IT WASN'T GOOD THEY SO CLEARLY ALWAYS HIT A VERY SPECIFIC MINIMAL LEVEL OF WATCHABLE AND GOOD ENOUGH, BUT BLACK WIDOW WAS AWFUL, ETERNALS MADE ME FALL ASLEEP AND THIS MOVIE WAS JUST NOTHING, THERE WASN'T ANYTHING REALLY OBJECTABLE WITH THIS BUT IT JUST IS TOTALLY FORGETTABLE. I REALLY FEEL LIKE THE PANDEMIC HAS RUINED THE MAGIC STREAK WHERE A BIG STUDIO COULD PUT OUT ANYTHING AND IT WAS ALWAYS VAGUELY GOOD ENOUGH. I'M NOT EVEN SAYING THIS IS SO BAD. JUST YOU CAN FEEL THE SHIFT WHERE THIS ISN'T AUTOMATIC "EH, I LIKED THAT WELL ENOUGH" FOR ANYTHING THEY PUT OUT ANYMORE. PS. THIS MOVIE IS DIFFERENT BECAUSE THEY MADE THE GOOD GUY'S WEAPONS GLOW RED AND THE BAD GUY'S WEAPONS GLOW BLUE.
