Ironcast [game]

Ironcast [game]

I FEEL LIKE AT SOME POINT AN EVOLUTIONARY SPLIT HAPPENED, WHERE THERE WAS A GENRE OF LIKE, MATCH 3/SOLITAIRE/PIXEL HUNT/ETC GAMES MADE WITH VICTORIAN ENGLAND STYLING THAT WERE NOT MADE FOR 'GAMERS" AND GET NO ATTENTION FROM TRADITIONAL GAMERS (READ: THESE ARE GAMES MADE FOR WOMEN) AND WHEN THE SPLIT HAPPENED THEY WERE KINDA BAD GAMES, BUT LIKE 20 YEARS LATER THERE IS THIS WEIRD THING WHERE THERE IS A BUNCH OF WEIRDLY GOOD GAMES LIKE THAT THAT SEEM TO NOT EXIST ANYWHERE IN LIKE, 'THE CONVERSATION' ABOUT GAMES. AND LIKE, THIS GAME ISN'T PERFECT, IT'S JUST A TILE MATCHING GAME WHERE YOU FIGHT ROBOTS IN STEAM PUNK ENGLAND, BUT LIKE, IT'S WEIRDLY SO MUCH MORE BETTER THAN IT FEELS LIKE IT NEEDS TO BE.

PS. ON THE OTHER HAND IT'S A WEIRD ROUGE LIKE WHERE EVERY RUN TAKES LIKE 3 HOURS AND IS FAIRLY HARD, I ENDED UP BUYING THE DLC JUST BECAUSE THE DLC CHARACTERS ARE STRONGER AND I WAS PLAYING THIS GAME OBSESSIVELY TRYING TO JUST FINISH IT ONCE, BUT EVER RUN IS HOURS LONG AND IT'S SO EASY TO DIE ON LIKE THE LAST BOSS, SO LIKE ONE GAME WOULD BE AN ENTIRE EVENING AND I JUST WANTED TO PAY 5 DOLLARS TO JUST BE DONE WITH IT, EVEN IF IT'S A KINDA SUPRISINGLY FUN GAME
