Seven Views of Olduvai Gorge [book]

Seven Views of Olduvai Gorge [book]

THERE KINDA ISN'T MUCH TO THIS, IT'S A SHORT STORY SPLIT IN SEVEN PARTS AND A FRAMING STORY SO EVERY PART IS VERY BRIEF BUT IT KINDA HIT ME HARDER THAN I EXPECTED. SPECIFICALLY THE PART HUNDREDS OF YEARS IN THE FUTURE WHERE THEY ARE ON A SAFARI TO SEE SOME VERY LAME ANIMALS, IN A WORLD ANIMALS ARE ALMOST GONE. IT WAS CLEARLY MEANT TO BE THE MOST COMEDIC PART WITH THEIR FUSSY AIR CONDITIONED SAFARI TO SEE MOSTLY NORMAL ANIMALS, AND ISN'T ANY SORT OF SUPER PROFOUND IDEA, BUT SOME REASON IT MADE ME VERY SAD.

PS. (THAT REASON IS DEFINITELY BECAUSE I WAS LISTENING TO THE "SOURDOIRE VALLEY SONG" ON LOOP AS I READ THIS.)
