Cyberpunk: Edgerunners [anime]

 Cyberpunk: Edgerunners [anime]

MAN, EVERYTHING STUDIO TRIGGER DOES IS ALWAYS AMAZING AND FOR THE FIRST 60% OF THIS THAT INCLUDES THIS, BUT GOD THIS GOES OFF A CLIFF AFTER THE TIME SKIP. I GET THE GENERAL SHAPE OF THE STORY THEY WERE GOING FOR, BUT IT JUST FEELS LIKE IT LOST EVERYTHING THAT WAS MAKING IT GOOD AND EVERYTHING GOT WAY DUMBER AND WORSE. IT IS KINDA NICE THAT THIS FOREVER WILL BE A GOOD EXAMPLE FOR WHEN PEOPLE ASK TO THINK OF LIKE, A STORY WHERE THE CHOSEN ONE TURNS OUT TO NOT BE, OR SOMETHING. IT JUST DOESN'T FEEL LIKE IT HAD A GOOD STORY ARC FOR DAVID THOUGH, LIKE, IT'S NOT A RISE AND FALL THAT FELT LIKE IT WAS FOR ANY REASON. I DON'T KNOW. C-

PS. I ACCEPT THE WEIRD DOUBLE TALK ON THE PHONE CALLS IS SOME CYBERTECH THING, THAT FEELS LIKE OKAY WORLD BUILDING BUT I HATE HOW SPORADIC IT WAS. KIWI DID IT ALL THE TIME BUT THEN IT FEELS LIKE THEY ONLY REMEMBERED ABOUT IT IN THE SECOND TO LAST EPISODE AND SUDDENLY EVERYONE WAS DOING IT.
