Ringing Bell [anime]

I WATCHED THIS BECAUSE I READ ABOUT HOW SANIO MADE ONE REALLY DARK CARTOONS AND THIS REALLY IS PRETTY DARK. LIKE IT'S HELD BACK A TON BY BEING A 1970S LOW BUDGET ANIME SO THE ANIMATION/AUDIO/ACTING/MUSIC IS ALL PRETTY LOW TIER STUFF BUT THIS KINDA IS REALLY DARK. LIKE IT'S NOT EVEN AS GORY AS SOMETHING LIKE WATERSHIP DOWN BUT IT KINDA IS IN THAT SPIRIT. IT'S VERY CLEARLY THE SANIO FILM WITH THE HIGHEST BODY COUNT AND MOST OF THAT IS BY THE PROTAGONIST AND THAT ISN'T SANIO AT ALL.

PS. I WATCHED THIS A FEW HOURS BEFORE WRITING THIS AND I'M SURPRISED HOW MUCH THIS IS STICKING IN MY HEAD. I THINK IT'S BECAUSE OF HOW COMPLEX THE MESSAGE ACTUALLY IS. REVENGE DESTROYED EVERYTHING FOR CHURIN BUT ALSO EVERYONE BUT HIS MOM WAS TOO WEAK TO STAND UP TO WOE AND SHE PAID WITH HER LIFE AND AND THE BIRD LOST IT'S LIFE AND STEPPING IN TO DEFEND IT JUST KILLED EVERYONE ANYONE AND THE MOVIE ISN'T EVEN REALLY GOING "NATURAL ORDER: PREDATORS EAT PREY" BECAUSE HOW CLEARLY FULL OF EVIL THE PREDATORS WERE TO THE POINT THEY MUTATED CHURIN INTO A MONSTER.
